March 22, 2020To our valued guests and friends,
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for choosing Gambuzza’s Barbershop for your grooming needs. We appreciate you.
As we closely monitor the COVID-19 Pandemic, we’re making adjustments to how we operate to keep you, our valued guests, as well as our staff as safe as possible.
As you know we’ve already put these measures in place:
- Our team members conduct regular and thorough cleaning of all equipment, surfaces, and areas of the barbershop using disinfectant cleaning supplies.
- All service providers will be washing their hands according to the CDC hand washing guidelines.
- We will also be discontinuing the communal beverage and root beer offerings in order to better protect you.
- In addition, we regularly complete professional overnight deep cleaning of the facility.
Effective immediately (Monday, March 16) we will also put the following procedures in place:
- We have advised our staff to practice social distancing as much as possible. We’re alternating chairs when possible. And we encourage you to sit away from others while waiting for your service.
- We are removing these items in our communal areas:
- Darts
- Pool sticks and pool balls
- Magazines
- We are suspending outside barbershop related activities for our staff to limit their exposure.
Beginning Monday, March 23, we will add the following policies and procedures:
- We will adjust our hours of operation in order to provide additional time to clean and sanitize the barbershop.
- By adjusting our hours we hope to continue to best serve you during this uncertain time.
- We’re adjusting our layout to provide greater social distancing.
- We’ll check the temperatures of our staff when they come in daily.
